Rame Consulting Limited was appointed by McLaren Property to act as its technical lead for the development of a student accommodation building in Greenwich.
Daniel Defoe Hall was developed as a forward funded project for the University of Greenwich funded by LGIM. The accommodation comprises a mix of cluster apartment, twin apartment and studios. The scheme also included a large refectory area which was developed and fitted out to the University’s specific requirements.
The development was part of a wider regeneration development known as The Movement. Therefore, careful liaison was required with the overall mixed use developer in terms of site logistics and connection to central shared utilities.
