Rame Consulting Limited was appointed as Project Manager for a new student accommodation scheme comprising 328 beds in a mixture of clusters and studios. The building was developed on a brownfield site and our role included undertaking a review of available technical due diligence information from the vendor prior to purchase of the land. The building was constructed using a primary steel frame solution with insitu concrete floors and brick elevations.
This scheme comprised 328 rooms configured as studios and cluster bedrooms. The scheme was delivered in three blocks around a central garden area.

The building was developed using a steel frame solution with traditional cavity construction.


The building was delivered in summer 2016 – it was critical to deliver rooms for the new academic year.

The development was forward sold and is now marketed by the new owner under the iQ banner.
